Over the last 2 weeks Sam and I have had an amazing time with our families and friends (it's been non-stop!). We have just said goodbye to our parents, which was as bad as I expected it to be and we are now chilling at Heathrow terminal 3 Bouncing off the walls with excitement.

Sam's not really looking forward to the 11hour flight but he's already had a few drinks so I'm sure he'll just zonk out as soon as we're seated. We just had dinner and Pippa Middleton strolled in and sat right opposite us!

It's funny, I've been on holiday every year sometimes twice a year for 22 years and I have never really noticed backpackers. This time I have been looking for them and there are so many! It makes me feel good to know that we're going to be meeting loads of people that are all iin the same boat as us.

Thank you to everyone that came to any of our leaving parties and thanks to everyone that contributed to our travels it is much appreciated and we will make sure that we keep you all updated with stories and pictures!

I hope you all have a great year and we will see you back in London in June 2013 (maybe)!
