Dean: Bus to Chihuahua rather than the train! From here we are heading south quite a bit in order to get to see more of the southern end of Mexico, which has lots of interesting places to see. It's quite cool being in a town that named a breed of dog! They have lots of arty fibre-glass Chihuahuas scattered around the town center (similar to the cows in Boston and the bears in Victoria). All very cool! I'm now very confident that we will be able to pick up enough Spanish to get by. It seems a lot easier being in a place where you have to speak Spanish and not many of the people you meet speak English. It gives you focus!
Alex: Chihuahua was nice - not loads to do but pretty. We went to Pancho Villa's (a Mexican Revolutionary) House which was interesting (not to mention huge) and had a general wander around the town.
