Dean: On Sunday we travelled from Vancouuver over to Victoria on Vancouver Island. We could have just booked ourselves on to a tour bus that would take us across (so no need to worry about the ferry etc) but we decided to do it ourselves, via public transport. It involved a few bus changes and sorting out the ferry tickets but was pretty straightforward (and saved us about $35, which is good as we have been burning through the budget a little too quickly!).
Victoria is really nice. Good walks, nice parks and building, and a good museum (which we are checking out today, Wednesday). The hostel is really good and the weather is hot (but not as hot as in the UK apparently!).
We have just been relaxing for the last few days, no adventures. We are heading over to Toronto tomorrow (Thursday) night.
