Alex: After 26 hours of travelling we are here! Quite odd really we left home at 5.30 am and it is still only 20.00ish here and (because of the extended daylight) bright sunshine! Grabbed a bagel and to bed.
Dean: As Alex says, we were up at 4:45 and out of the house at 5:30. Flew from Manchester to London (8:00 - 9:00), and then London to Dallas (10:35 - 10 hours, 6 hours behind), Dallas to Anchorage (16:18 - 6:45 hours, 3 hours behind), arriving in Anchorage at 20:00 (local time). So we had a 26 hour day - which was not good for the body!
Stayed at the Anchorage International Hostal, in one of the private rooms (breaking ourselves in gently!).

Long Journey
That was a looooooooong Journey, but I'm pleased you got there safely, and now have some time to rest before serious sight seeing.
