scenario number one:
after i spent a day with my mum in la habana, we took the train from the capital to santiago de cuba. the trainride should have taken 15 hours, but took about 50% more as the train broke (v disconcerting when the lock gets disconnected and goeas back to where you came from, leaving the train stranded), then the brakes of one of the carriages, and we spent more than 9 hours just standing around in various places in the middle of nowhere. but i canīt complain as i met some cubans and had great entertainment. from one i learnt that the life of men in cuba revolves around women, music, rum and dominoes. for women, itīs house, children and work. equal society? think not...
