Take jsme navstivili nekolik dobrych restauraci a musim rict ze jsme si pochutnali. Jinaqk ale nas Kendy nejak moc neupoutala.

English - So on we go by train again to Kandy. Kandy is the second city of Sri Lanka although it didn't seem that big to us. We liked it here and stayed for 3 days. Kandy is set in the valley surrounded by mountains with a large lake and the Temple of the tooth as the focal point. The Temple of the tooth supposedly houses the most previous Buddhist relic in the world, a tooth of the Buddha taken from his body when he died. The tooth has had a colourfull history and been stolen more times and we have been bitten by Mosquistos. The highlight of the trip to the temple for me was the monkeys stealing food from crowds of people in the gardens outside. We met up with some friends of ours in Kandy again, Ben, Kally, Jack, Saskia and Steve and arrange to all meet up in a place called Hikaduwa next week for the last week in Sri Lanka by the sea and in the sun. Not many photo's here sorry.
