Not wanting to spend too long in Kuta I decided to squeeze in Mt Bromo, an active volcano in eastern Java that is meant to be a pretty awesome sight and one of the most impressive in Indonesia. As you can see it lived up to its reputation and once again I was lucky with the cloud cover that often obsure the view completely. A 3:30 am rise got me to the top in time for sunrise.
