Early start - bus at 7am. It took about 10 hours to get to San Jose after a 4 hour puncture. It was a public bus and I wasn't very popular with my giant bag. I was sat next to a Tica (Lilian) who spent 10 hours chatting to me in Spanish. She gave me her email address and said me and Steph should come visit.
The airport was nice and after a short time we took off for San Salvador
