We traveled to Kuala Lumpur with approx. 20 other Expats from Penang to see the great Formula One Races. These cars are so cool and fast. We loved the speed and the excitement. It took April all day Saturday to choose which car she was going to cheer on and finally when the race started on Sunday, and lap five, April said "Where's my car? Where's the Lucky Strike car!!??? Everyone said, "hat's the one that caught on fire and blow up in lap two" back to April "WHAT!! Holy Sh...t and I bought this hat!" Well, the races were very exciting and we had a great time as you'll see in the photos. The heat was overwhelming record high of 41 c about 100 something degrees. Fortunately, the Petronas (as in Petronas Twin Towers in KL)track is very nicely shaded and fans everywhere. There was so much to see and buy too. As traditionally at races the F-1 fighter planes gave a spectacular show. We can't wait to see the next Formula 1 race. The winner that day was the cigarette company car, Mild Seven. Michael Schumacher came in about 12th place, but he gave a great show as always. He was driving a new car we heard.
