Hey all,
Today was pretty chillaxed, as all the shops are closed etc and I really have nothing else to do. I spent all day washing clothes/sheets, trying to vacuum, cleaning, watching tv, and cooking. By trying to vacuum I mean the vacuum is a piece of shit with almost no suction. I'm thinking of even buying a new one, its almost impossible to clean with this one.
So in the afternoon I went for a short bike ride in the rain (yes it finally rained today!) to a supermarket that was open (Albert Heijn - an 'upmarket' supermarket like coles/woolies), to buy basil (only 90 euros /kg!), celery, toilet cleaner, and parmesan (found pre-grated grana padano cheese, as close as it gets I guess). Then I started cooking, chicken soup and spaghetti sauce. There should be enough food for Ioana when she arrives... :P
I ate a bowl of spaghetti for dinner, a ham/cheese/tomato toasted sandwich for lunch. Tomorrow starts another week in the lab and on Tuesday Ioana arrives! I can't wait!

Comments
refer to landlord about vacuum cleaner first, he probably has a functional spare or knows how to fix etc - that's what he is paid for
