Venice early morning on the 16th, and just 9 hours later found ourselves in the charming mountain town of
Heiligenblut, which lies underneath the highest mountain in Austria. Next day, we walked into the next town in the hope of finding somewhere to swim. The rivers are ice cold because the water comes from the mountain which is still snow covered, but we braved it eventually! We then found a fantastic real swimming pool, with huge bay windows looking out onto the Alps. Today we walked down the valley in the other direction and stumbled across a beautiful waterfall where we spent the afternoon.
