It was another long sail today - and sailing it was. There was pretty good weather so Albert got a bit of a sailing workout (hoisting sails, etc). It was excellent!
We are both in agreeance that Kea is the best island we have been to so far. It's nice without being too touristy and although Athens weekenders (as Sotiris called them) come there with their big fancy motor yachts - its still got a nice atmosphere.
Because of the hectic sailing and 'bad maintenance' Sotiris' berth got wet and he had to find a hotel for the night. But, 'shit happens' apparently (Sotiris speak).
It was Alberts turn to cook (with Kyle acting as Sous Chef), Hersch and Sarah went for a long walk and got some mince meat for us so we had great pasta and even better wine.
There's a nice beach around the corner so after dinner we all went for a walk and had a drink from the beach bar. Heather and Cindy did want to go swimming there the next morning but didn't really manage the whole 'getting up before 10am' thing but apparently the weather and the waves were pretty terrible that morning anyway (Sarah and Hersch checked for us).
