Luckily there are only 2 time zones to deal with when switching back and forth between these countries. I managed to hit the rainy season in KL where it was hot and wet, then just plain hot and humid weather when I got to Bangkok for an overnight stay, then relatively cooler weather when I landed in Taiwan where the temperatures are in the low to mid 20's.
Great flights, smooth transitions, an amazing shopping and browsing mecca in the fantastic Bangkok airport - it's all good.
Now, I can finally sit back and relax for a couple of weeks at least at my dear friends' home in Taiwan. It will be great to spend the holidays with Kevin and Rayne and their two adorable daughters in Changhua and to explore the local surroundings before re-packing for more travel in January.
Stay tuned - it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (sort of), Taiwan-style!
