Well yesterday turned into an off day, it rained in the morning and stayed overcast the whole day, so I went off island and got some lunch at Beaches- Best Burgers and Dogs, I ate there last year and wanted to try it again. The burger and fries are great, small family run place. I thought about going back again and getting some breakfast. The rest of the day was really laid back, I drove around the island checking other places out, then came back and I honestly can't remember...ha...oh I got the call about next level org announcements...well I still have a job, so that is good. And the Billabong Pro Tahiti had another lay day due to crappy waves...ugh, though I have only lost 2 guys so far on my fantasysurfer team, I hope I can watch some more heats today, about an hour and a half to go until they make the first call.
Today I got up and ran on the beach, I didn't run yesterday, actually had a good run today, not a lot of wind and a little sunny. Then I came back and went back out and hung out I was out there a little after 9am and just got back about 30 min ago - 1230pm, but it got really cloudy, the sun was trying to burn itself through but no dice. There were a lot more people out there today due it being a friday, but most of them were just sitting in their chairs, no one was out in the water long. It was a choppy day out there, I went out for a little bit and took some more pics, then just hung out on beach and Lesley called me, it was good to talk to her, its been forever, Im such a bad friend, I still haven't gone to see her baby yet...I was debating on leaving today versus tomorrow morning, cuz its still cloudy and not sure what the weather is going to do, but im still on the fence, not like im going to do a lot at home either, so rather hang out at beach versus my house. I plan on doing most of the cleaning and packing today, so I can get on the road early tomorrow, a couple people have texted me about the "race traffic" the races start this weekend, I can't believe its that time of year already, next week will be Speed week...lol...I have lived in Charlotte 12 years and have never been to a race...Anyways...Im including some pics from the past couple days.
