Day 6 - Avellenas and Graduation

I went out to try to catch a wave and my shoulder is just killing me so I just came back in. Then Mike gets me to come look at Chris's leg, he has a huge egg bruise on his shin...we went and got some ice and make a make-shift splint to keep his leg elevated...you could tell he was in a lot of pain..so then B, Maya and myself decided to go to Lola's. So I carried my giant board down to Lola's then realized I forgot my sandals and to let Mary know where I was going, so walked back down and mary had my sandals and I carried Chris board back to Lola's...We had some great pizzas there, the margarita and the blanco...where I had just Imperials, everyone else was drinking Micheladas....Beer, ice, lime juice and salt....Im not a big margarita fan, so I didn't really like them. But we sat there for a long time enjoying the amazing day, looking at the waves thru the palm trees...it was awesome.
Then we headed back in the old school bus, Rafa and I were video taping the ride back, that kid makes me laugh, he was hanging out the bus door taking video, crazy. Then we headed back to the camp un packed. This is when i do a lot of my packing for Saturday. So I got all my packing done, and headed down for some food. Mike, Johnny and I got a whole bunch of sushi, god it was soo good, You can never go wrong with the Volcano roll. Then headed back upstairs for some nap time.
Graduation is a fun, The staff puts together some food for us and we watch videos of ourselves...mostly falling, especially in my case. But I did have some good waves this year, though Rafa of course didn't get them all. But he did get a few of me riding some waves, though they are not pretty at all. I look like some giant beast trying to stand up. Not pretty.
But who cares I had a lot of fun, but not sure if I re-injured my shoulder, it is pretty sore, though I have range of motion it is pretty painful. I will let it be for a week then call doctor when i get back.
But graduation was fun, though it was so freaking hot....my first shirt was drenched before the videos were over so I had to go change, we decided to not go to the Monkey Bar and just have everyone come up to the Roof to finish out the week. It was really cool to have everyone just chill out up on the roof, plus we so happy to be able to see stars....I saw more shooting stars this past week then i have in the last 20 years. It was so cool. I had to change shirts again, so 3 shirts in one night. Ugh, But everyone started to head back to their rooms and I then went to bed. It was a good day.
