I love visiting the DFW area. There is something about returning to your hometown after 6 months in a foreign country. I have been in exile for living in DFW for over 15 years now. I want to return. Had a good time over there but I was sick the first week and crippled with gout part of the second. Finally got well for the last week but already I was dreading going back to China. I love China, but it's not Texas and never will be. Next time I'm returning to Texas for a much longer time and will probably seek a job there.
Wednesday February 9: Up at 6:20 then off to the airport for a mid morning flight to Seoul then Shanghai. Total flight time will be 16 hours. At the airport, the kind Korean Air reps gave me an exit row seat (much more leg room but I do have to assist in event of a water evacuation). Flying for 14 hours in an exit row seat on Korean Airlines is luxury. Plus there was an empty seat between me and the other passenger (YES!). There is NO comparison between Korean Air and American or Delta in the comfort department.
