We arrived home around 3:00pm to mounds of snow and colder temperatures (about 12-degrees above zero). We were met by our son, John, and the Petersen family. On our way home, we stopped-by at the Take-5 Coffee Shop for some coffee and a little visiting. Then we headed home for some rest and relaxation, as our bodies are still on Thailand time (a 17-hour zone difference).
We were very glad to be home, and our cocker-spaniel puppies were very excited to see us! We entered our house to a wonderful aroma and an incredible blessing of spic-and-span. John and his friend, Virginia, had spring-cleaned our house! This is no small feat, as we have a three-level house! They washed windows, shampooed carpets, cleaned and organized cabinets, split wood, scoured bathrooms, and hauled trash. It was an amazing blessing that we will be enjoying for many months! THANKS, Virginia and John! You are both now in high-demand as house-sitters!
Terry and I will spend the next few days re-adjusting to the Alaska time zone and weather, and will also be catching-up on our BLOG entries. Stay tuned for more of our photos and adventures.
