Pulling into LA's Greyhound station once more at 4:30am it was a brief 15 minutes before getting another northbound bus to San Fransisco, just enough time then for every total nutter in the area to board first. Sitting opposite a tattooed probable gang member, also probably about to off me if I don't stop staring, we at least both shared the same sentiment when a kid further down the bus puked up everywhere, we had not even moved yet. This was gonna be a long one.
Trying my best to sleep I just felt so weak and tired. I mean sure I had just done a combined 30 hour bus trip back to back but something felt definitely wrong as I gradually got worse and worse as the journey went on just willing the bus to hurry up and get there all ready.
Arriving in the rain I put on my backpack and after heading in the wrong direction for a couple of minutes turned and headed towards the hostel. Every step felt like a hundred, my bag feeling like a dead elephant on my back as I wondered if I would ever get to the hostel barely noticing my surroundings just glancing up every now and then counting down the numbered streets till I reached the correct one.
Making it to the hostel without collapsing I stepped into the empty dorm with it only being mid-afternoon but my bed was already calling to me, falling asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow at only 4pm and being completely comatosed for the next 16 hours.
