"So what did you do in paradise today? Swim? Snorkel? Lie on the beach? Hammocking?"
"No, I shaved a coconut."
"Okayyy..."

Three hours we spent making a coconut bracelet each and I still don't know why. One of those seemed like a good idea at the time things.

Anyway, time to island hop again taking the taxi boat back to meet up with the yasawa flyer ferry with the boat almost tipping over at 20 knots after hitting a freak wave. If ever such a thing as getting a boat on two wheels that was it.

White Sandy Beach on Naviti island was my next port of call hoping that it lived up to its name. With two weeks longer than me bouncing around the islands Astrid got off an island early choosing a Long Beach over a white sandy one making another sad goodbye but without any Fijian singing this time.

James who I'd met the night before at Sunrise though was also getting off at White Sandy Beach which was good since without him it was looking like a lone trip there. Another friendly singing welcome (luckily for all around not by us) saw as arrive on a white sandy beach being handed a sweet refreshing hollowed out coconut drink before being shown the only dorm beds I'd ever seen with fresh flowers laid out on each one.

Walking over to so called Honeymoon beach in another bay on the island we paid the $2 toll to step on to it finding a near identical white sandy beach to the one we had left. Really don't know what we were expecting though. What we did find there or should be who we found there was Shelly and Sharon both from Hertfordshire who were also staying at the same resort as us. Spending ages sitting around talking it turned out they were on a near identical trip to me but in the reverse order even also meeting Suzy the Intrepid tour guide on their Intrepid tour in China who I'd met on the Yangtze river. Small world indeed.

Watching another sunset from the beach Kenny and Claire also from the UK turned up along with a Norwegian couple Mona and Henrik making a grand total of eight of us in the whole place. This still failed to deter our hosts though from dragging a couple of us up for more Fijian style dancing on the beach as the rest of us tried to feign tiredness, which I think they fell for, only through blaming it on kava.
