Leaving town around 7am we had another whole day on the road to look forward to as we continued south to Adelaide.

Three of the people on the bus yesterday had liked Coober Pedy so much they had decided to stay and look for work, or opals, or work looking for opals.

Passing a few road trains and one ordinary later we were soon passing the Flinders Ranges stopping for a few pics before on to Port Augusta for lunch and also some of the first green we had seen for a week.

With the Ashes cricket in town just about everywhere was full with people even camping out in some local parkland but I'd managed to find a bed in Sunny's hostel and was immediately drawn into a game of table tennis with a French guy staying here before I'd even dumped my bag which was just what I needed after all day on the bus.

Taking a short walk around the area I seemed to be the only one here not for the cricket with the days play just finishing with the spectators flooding into the city centre yet not putting off one guy who swore to kill me unless I gave him a dollar. Declining his offer I tried not to upset the midget too much since he looked a little pregnant before returning to the hostel to find it crowded out with more cricketeers from both England and Australia.
