Waking in a familiar bed followed soon after by a huge breakfast (missed Khoon Maa's cooking) it went some way to relieving the after effects of the red whisky as I spent the morning taking it easy.
After talking for a while it was soon lunch with them returning from the market with almost every one of my favorite Thai dishes/goldfish bags including two different kinds of som tam with no question as to which was the sea food version with a few crabs claws poking out.
Apart from a few of the bushes having gotten more err bushier since I was last here things were still the same (no one having shot that damn rooster yet either) including the no let up in the amount of food being offered up to me as I guess they tried to make up for the 6 weeks absence as one of the relatives appeared with a type of popcorn made from rice - so poprice I guess.
Getting on the dog and bone to Pen see if she was free I ended up just getting told off for not calling her last night from Buriram saying she would have drove all the way to come get me, with that also being the reason why I didn't call her. Along with the fact I had lost her number which I neglected to mention.
With some confusion about who was going to meet who time was unfortunately running out even with me aiming to get the last bus to Bangkok so we ended up meeting in the bus station briefly just before I left.
After a very short reunion with Pen I was leaving again for Bangkok but not too fast as the bus blew a tyre only a few meters down the road but rather than hang around this time for it to be fixed we were all swiftly herded onto a replacement bus as I soon wished we had stayed and waited on the other one as I had to sit underneath a leaking air conditioner.
