Maybe because they also say hello when saying goodbye here (sawatdee in both cases) they seem to have a habit of disappearing without saying anything as I found myself alone for most of the morning again with no idea where'd they gone.
Today was actually just too damn hot to do anything anyway with me spending most of the time getting a little tan back after being indoors teaching for the past few weeks. When even the locals start to complain it is too hot you know that it really is with me dunking my head in water every 5 minutes and everyone just lying splayed out on the floor (general lack of chairs here) with fans whirring as fast as they could whir.
All three of the kids were also home today with the two brothers Jojo and Popeye (heh heh) being 18 and 17 respectively and Poope the daughter 16. We all headed out for a Korean BBQ for dinner or at least we all went to the restaurant with Khoon Maa and Khoon Phaaw not staying and leaving me to try my best Thai with Jojo, Popeye and Poope with their English thankfully being far greater than my Thai.
Met the cousins again after dinner with a few new faces among the crowd, not that I was entirely sure they were new however. Anyway being shown some family photos as well as one of someone's daughter (hey there were a lot of people) at her graduation they kept prompting me if I thought she was beautiful (she was) along with reminding me we were the same age making me wonder if they'd also be part of my immediate family by the time I got out of there which was almost confirmed on the production of some Thai whisky with the evening suddenly speeding up.
