Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland

We started heading back down the coast through Finland. The scenery was very different to that in Norway and was much flatter. There really wasn't much up in this area just lots of trees around. In the afternoon we reached Rovaniemi which is the home of Santa and is also is where we crossed the Arctic Circle line again. I was looking forward to the home of Santa but it was a bit of a let down. It was a bit of a ghost town and very few people around. We did meet Santa which was pretty cool and he was very nice to us all. However, there really wasn't anything else to see just lots of tourist shops that weren't all that exciting. We did get some cool photos with the Arctic Circle line and wandered around.
