The next stop on our tour was Cappadocia which is a stunning place!!!
It was created from 4 volcanoes which erupted ages ago and has been
eroded out. The the earlier christians came along and build houses and
churches into the cliff like areas. It is absolutely amazing!! You can
also climb through go into the buildings and have a look. The first day
we went to Goreme open-air museum, Pasabag and Uchisar castle (which
you can't really climb to the top anymore as it is quite unstable). You
would think looking into cities that have been cut into cliffs would
get old after a while but it doesn't. They are all just stunning.

The
second day we went to the Ihlara Valley where we bush walked next to a
lake and there were all churches cut into the cliffs on either side. We
also went to Derinkuyu which is an underground city which the first
christians hid. This was really big and had 8 levels below the ground
(i think 50m deep). Again this is absolutely stunning and you can go
down to the bottom level of this city. We had heaps of fun wandering
around and exploring this city.

Overall this is one of my favourite places i have visited so far and
would really recommend going to visit cause i really cannot explain just
how amazing area city is!
