I only had a brief stop in Sydney to meet up with Phil, a friend I started travelling with in Thailand, then we we're due to head off to New Zealand the next day.

I arrived about 7am Oz time, and went straight to bed as I'd had very little sleep over the last few days with all the travelling and early starts. Phil woke up and came to find me, then gave me a whistle-stop tour of the sights of Sydney, including the opera house, and the harbour bridge (next to the opera house). After this we sorted out our Kiwi Experience tour and went to Bondi beach for the rest of the day.

In the evening we had a couple of beers and a few games of pool, and chatted about our travels, then had a fairly early night, I had to be up at 4:30am to get my flight for Auckland.
