As for the camping, it is going really well. The tent we bought for about $20 is, much to my surprise, holding up quite well. It is nice waking up in the morning and looking out the tent door directly into the ocean. First night we were down on the beach, and now we moved it up a cliff for a really great view. It's going to be hard to leave this place, but I can only be a beach bum for so long, its time to move on!
On the Greek Islands and really enjoying it. After leaving Athens I left with a group of people and headed to Santorini far a couple days of beaches and views. First day in Santorini we arrived around 6 am so we had plenty of time to see the island. We had a couple options, a bus, a moped, a four-wheeler, or a dunebuggy. Oh yeah, dunebuggy it was. We called it the blue ferrari of the islands because it moved. We covered every major beach and then some. Climbed a few hills and hit a few bars. A great first day and really hard to top. Next day we did an island cruise. It took us out to the volcano that last erupted in 1950, then over to the hotsprings where you can swim in 90 degree water. Next stop was a little island village for lunch, and then to the coral reefs. Last stop was in a town called Oia which is world famous for it sunsets, and for good reason. We made it back by about midnight and called it a night. Today we picked our favorite beach and we are headed there until the sun goes down. It's a little strange not having a fully packed day, but it will be nice. Tomorrow I catch a ferry from Santorini to Athens, and then a flight from Athens to Barcelona.
