Today we awoke to sunshine, explored more of the coast around Spiddal, and then we had a nice drive back to Dublin. We stopped in Galway (city center) for some shopping (Glad we did, it was a much nicer environment than Dublin, and also more reasonably priced).
When we reached Dublin, we decided to try and drive into the city (scary thought) so we would have our car for our morning trip to the airport. It took us almost an hour in heavy traffic, but we managed to navigate the crazy one ways and negotiate the intense roundabouts, and in the end, we made safely to our hotel (Holiday Inn Express on Pearse St).
At the hotel, we repacked for the journey home. It was amazing how many clean sets of clothing the boys still had, and we realized that we could have stayed out for another two weeks. After repacking, we grabbed some food (I chose the Lido for Fish and Chips once again), and then Laura and I went out for a few last pints.
