Well, it's our last night in
Gaeta, and it's been fantastic. The Granata grandparents are just fantastic. Maybe we can find something in our travels to somehow show our appreciation for the hospitality and warmth they've shown us, but honestly I doubt anything we could come up with would sufficiently show our appreciation. I hear they might be in town at Jo's during Thanksgiving, maybe Tara Connor Ashley and I can take them out for dinner or something. I'll be sad to say good bye to
Gaeta, but this has really been the vacation for the summer, next week the real traveling starts. Tomorrow we wake up around 6am and Connor's grandpa is driving us to
Formia, where we will catch the train to Rome, and then Tara is heading to the airport to meet friends in Germany, and we are headed to
Milan. We've got a hostel for only a night as we use the internet to make some further bookings for hostels, but then the next day we head to Zermatt Switzerland and then onto
Brig to catch the Glacier Express which will be a "picturesque and breathtaking train ride through the Alps". Should be lots of fun. I'll keep everyone posted! Miss you, talk soon world of the internet and my friends and family I miss!
