Transfer dropped me off right outside the door, it looked shut but there was sign outside saying to call the night porter, i did and he came rushing out and took me to me room.

3hrs sleep and i was itching to get outside and explore. I got up and had my typical turkish breakfast and walked into fethiye from calis, about 3km.

I managed to hire a motorbike from along the marina road for 60 lira for 2 days.
While
i was waiting for my bike to arrive i went for some traditional turkish
lunch. Kebab sticks with peppers and tomatoes, cous cous, onion seasoned
with something??? salad and a coke all for 10 lira (10 lira = about
£4.30)

I then headed out to collect my bike, refuel it as its
supplied empty and then head out to the posh end of fethiye... the
marina! I had a nice little stroll down the marina "looking at what i
could of won" as bully used to put it! I then sat down for a well needed
water and watched some men fishing for a short while. what a life!

Afterwards
i called up a turkish friend to inform him i was in town. I then headed
over the hills via the fethiye/olu deniz road dodging oncoming traffic
as i went up the mountain pass, turks are mental drivers!!!
I stopped
at Time out bar where he works and caught up. Time out is a kareoke bar
out side which then turns into a club untill about 4am. best bar in
town! highly recommended!

I left my friend to enjoy the rest of the afternoon stepping back in time by visiting Kayaköy
Kayaköy is a village 8 km south Fethiye. Greek speaking Christians lived until approximately 1923. The ghost town,
now preserved as a museum village, consists of hundreds of rundown but
still mostly intact Greek-style houses and churches which cover a small
mountainside and serve as a stopping place for tourists visiting Fethiye
and nearby Oludeniz

The sun was about to set and as much as i wanted to stay up in the ghost
town as the sun dropped it would of been almost pointless as my camera
had already died!

I headed back to my hotel and relaxed with a
few cold beers i picked up from the shop on the way back before headed
out to Time out bar again. I arrived at 11.30pm and the place was just
starting to fill up. My friend introduced me to all the new staff this
season and other people he had met that week,i bumped into a few old
faces too. By 01:00 i had made lots of new friends.
After the bar closed my new, old friends and a few english people stayed behind chatting.
Soon the sun came up, everyone went home and me and my friend went for Soup and Tea.
We chatted about all sorts before it was soon time to go home ourselves.

I hopped on my bike and carefully rode back to my hotel, Little did i
realise but i had to check out in 2 and a half hours time!!!

I decided to sleep for 2hrs and then sort that out in the morning...
