Over the past four days I have met more people and made more friends than ever on this trip. I'm learning that travelling alone is not lonely afterall.
I have had many helping hands;
Free stay at the nicest campsite I have seen in Europe, with offers of breakfast and coffee in the morning.
Asking directions to the next town leading to new friendships, a lovely home stay in the beautiful town of Louven and a companion for the ride to Brussels.  Thank you Vicky and Elizabeth.
Again asking directions in Brussels leading to new friendships, a costly night at the bar (I only had one beer, but I lost my wallet so it turned out to be a really expensive beer!) and a private guided tour of Brussels. Thank you Cesar.
And also many pleasant encounters along the way with the occasional speedy cyclist who slows down to ride along with me for a few kilometers.

I am staying today in the lovely 17th Century home of Patrick and Marie in the heart of Nivelles. It is truly a pleasure to see eachother again.  Thank you for all your kindness and support, Patrick, Marie, Catherine and Benoît.
