As we wake up this morning, we are expecting another 29 degree day with blue skies, only it's very cloudy and looks like it could rain. We decide to stay under cover for the first half of the day and do a little shopping, and it's a good thing we do as around 10am it absolutely buckets down. By lunch time, it's cleared up and the weather is back to normal and we hit the pools for the remainder of the day. Arion is now confident in the water and swimming distances of up 8 meters, his excitement and determination to improve is a fascinating thing to experience as a parent. It's 5pm and we drag the kids out of the pool, as we know that they will be starving and cranky if we don't. We walk across the road to try a restaurant highly recommend by friends, locals and trip advisor, called Roy's. Apparently these guys are so big now they have a chain of restaurants all over Hawaii and it's rated the #1 restaurant on Trip Advisor so we had to check it out. The ambience of this restaurant is a little more upmarket and I start to worry how the kids will handle it, but Roy's caters for families, by providing our kids puzzles, crayons and given them their drinks in plastic cups. And all kids meals are served immediately and thing I loved most about this place was the kids meals were much healthier compared to other places, our two ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Rice for example versus Hot Dog's and Chips. Zinije and I go for a 3 course meal option and by the first course we are in love with this place. All our dishes are fantastic at Roy's and it is one of the best restaurants we've eaten at on this trip so far. We walk a little after our meals before returning to our hotel.
