Arrived in Chiclayo, the commericial hub of Peruvians northern cities. Very pleasant, laid back, beachy type town, breezy and very hot. A nice change from Cajamarca which was clear first few then very strong rains all day. Exploring the city a bit and the main tourist attractions are some museams where kings where found in tombs- pyrmaids, supposedly overshadowing king tut. Interesting museam, lots of gold - if your into that stuff. Found a good cheap backpacker hostel and met some other travelers, very friendly host with nice pup MOCHA. Visited the museam and pyramid ruins of tucume with Dax, an English Dj and Stefan, a Dutchman. Enjoyable, humurous trip and then they headed East. A few more days here then to Piura and the northern beaches, and Ecuador by the end of the month. Found a good veg restaraunt its a HARE KRSNA- om. might check out a ghost town later today that was destroyed in an El nino flood. Thats the news over here, until later.

I am sitting at work at a bike shop in Fort Collins wishing I was closer to the equator like yourself. Happy travels and hope to see you soon buddy. Peace and respect.
