Paul and I woke early, dressed quickly, then headed on the long walk to the airport. We found a luggage trolley out in front of our room, and decided it was our job to return it to the airport … bearing our luggage. We missed the train by seconds but still had time to check in, go through security, and make the long run out to our flight. When we went to board, we were told that we had been upgraded to first class … must say how pleased I am with the new automatic upgrade policy … no Systemwides or other costs. Just a nice Thank You for being such loyal customers. So we relaxed in a our suites, slept a bit, watched some movies, had curry for lunch, and arrived relatively content into Chicago. Flight from Chicago to SFO was fine … baggage took literally one hour (at 2:45pm, we were walking through the terminal to baggage; at 3:45pm our baggage arrived), then we took BART home. Gruden greeted us with whimpering.
