Quadbiking and last night In Queenstown!

The Friday was our last day in Queenstown, and in the afternoon we went Quadbiking! It was pretty cool, we were the only two in our group and apparently we were pretty good for beginners, although, I was probably way over catious, as I was nervous of the bikes as a few days early I had had a fairly spectacular crash on the luge, coming down the mountain. Good news tho, I didnt fall off, or drive off a cliff!!
In the evening we went back to Buffalo bars, with it warming fire, and made a couple of new friends, ended up going to a place called winnies, which is by day a pizza gourmet bar, by night a club, it was probably the best club we went to in Queenstown, but around 2am called it a night as we had to drive back to Dunedin in the morning!

England Vs Georgia and a very Laddish weekend! Whhheeeyyy!!

It was my turn to drive this time, but like I've said before, driving in New Zealand is not a bad thing! The roads are windy, and normally mountain one side and a sheer drop into a valley, or lake, but generally its spectacular, even if its down roads you have already been down.
Once we had arrived in Dunedin we got to our hostel, met the first one of our room mates called pete, now pete was ok... prob not the type of guy we would normally hang around with, slightly odd, prehaps a cross between a hobbit and bubu from yogi bear? However he seemed ok. We opted to not hang around in the room with pete anyway, and went into the Octagon, to watch Ireland vs Australia... what a game! Fair play Ireland. Have to admit, me and Matt were cheering the referee in that one, got some strange looks shouting 'C'mon referee!' or 'Good call referee' but still it was fun banter. Afterwards we did what all English people do best, got drunk, danced, amongst a few other things... but the highlight of the night was Matt Dye getting slapped by a kiwi girl, full on SLAPPED for saying the kiwis were gonna choke. Loved it.
The next day we woke up with a bit of a hangover, bacon sandwich time! But we briefly spoke to our other room mate Dean (who later we met up with in town for a few STEINS after the game! After our beers, we went back, and prepared for the game, i had bought some laces so I could wear my Alchester England flag as a cape, then we were ready, and we marched on down to the Octagon. After giving in early, we had a few beers and started chatting amongst other England fans and ended up going down to the game with a couple of lads we had met.
The England game itself, well it was ok, we either grew in confidence or Georgia just tired, from playing Scotland 4 days earlier! I again was sat next to a kiwi, who was asking 'why are they wearing black?!' in a real wining voice! I just replied by chanting to her 'GO ENGLAND ALLBLACKS!' she definately hated me! :) After the game we were walking out and we saw Dean our room mate, and he and his friend came for a few beers with us. Dean again was of the same opinion of pete as us, a bit strange, and said he was relieved to see two normal lads passed out asleep stinking of booze when he woke up. Haha thats definately the norm these days!
The night itself was a real good night, untill I got too drunk, but we were drinking Steins (these massive beers!) and me and Matt seemed to get more and more people drinking with our group! When the live band started playing we were all pretty drunk, but as the Band was called 'tiger tiger' I came up with the band slogan of 'Tiger Tiger RAAARRRRR!!!' which is why we are doing tiger poses in alot of the pics, I blame to much STEIN 'so bloaty' was another quote in reference to the Steins, dean even ended up playing the bongo of the band, what a laddish night!! Whheeeyyy!! The next morning we woke up... Dean had managed to hitch a lift to Christchurch at some point in the night, but left us a note and we had to check out our hostel, so we got in the car, and had no idea of where we were heading...
