After a long, long journey, I made it to New Zealand! The first part of my flight was 13hours from Heathrow to Hong Kong, tiring but me and Matt Managed to get seats next to each other, and a good chap called Riley failed to turn up, so we could space out a bit. Riley you legend! We landed in Hong Kong at evening time, and this is where me and Matt had to part, he went to Melbourne a couple of hours before I left for Sydney. Although I got to sit and watch the Hong Kong sunset, and I'm tempted to go there on my way home, but we'll see.
Another long journey to Sydney was ok, saw the Sydney Opera House and Bridge whilst landing as I had the window seat. Panic in the airport though, as I had an hour change over time, and was informed I needed a ticket to prove I was leaving New Zealand!! Panic Buy to Singapore on the 27th but I can cancel with only a $50dollar charge and change my destination so no biggie!
Made some friends with an Older couple on the flight to Christchurch who gave me some useful advice about driving in new zealand, and how to avoid common fines. Good job, i did not know you had to park facing the same direction the traffic is going. This flight had no entertainment, so I made very good use of my kindle, until we started to land! New Zealand Looks stunning from the Air!! Once landed i had to wait a few hours for Matts flight to land, but the airports pretty small and found him with ease, and 'walked' to our hotel and after a beer. Crashed. Now waiting for our rental car this Morning! Road trip!! :) :) :) cant wait to see this beautiful country!

Glad you got there ok little bro, sounded like an eventful journey!
They had the New Zealand Tonga opener on TV at work today, quite comfortable for the all blacks. Enjoy the game tomorrow, and keep us poted on your travels. Did you get a camera in the end to take lots of pics?

A lot of the All Blacks over here are not convinced, should of been a game they dominated. Although they won comfortably in the lose, tonga took the game to them in the tight, and coming up against teams like England, Australia etc who can defend in the tight well, they may well choke. Yes got a samsung camera taken few pics already, gonna explore Dunedin today before watching the England vs Argentina Game!
