Today we moved from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Boardwalk Resort. It is a nice resort with plenty to do. The Boardwalk area is clean and fun with shops and restaurants. We arrived prior to check in but were happy to find our room was already ready for us. We unpacked a bit then hit the pool. Rob and the kids surprised me with a beautiful bracelet and a 50 minute massage!!! It was blissful. The adults were planning a night out alone. I am not sure who was more excited us or the kids. We left Cara and Jenna in charge and they took the younger kids to a campfire,then a walk on the Boardwalk where they saw a magic show and finally they settled in with a movie. Meanwhile, we left for dinner at Citricos at the Grand Floridian. The food was delicious and the desserts were so amazing we had to take pictures of them!! What a fabulous meal, followed by a view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from our table! We ended the night with a few drinks and some fun at Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar on the Boardwalk. All in all it was a great brithday for me and a fun day for everyone.
