Howdy folks, 

looks like after all this time of sitting around and waiting the day has finally come!  I can't believe I'm leaving in the morning. 
Packing wise, I think I am as ready as I will ever be.  My suitcase weighs 47 pounds which is very close to the limit.  Trust me, I would love to bring 3 extra pounds of clothing, but I don't want to cut it too close.  
Emotionally, I am all over the place.  I am extremely excited, nervous, terrified, sad, ecstatic...all of the above! I have no idea how I am going to sleep tonight. I said goodbye (no wait, see you later, not goodbye!) to my wonderful Agnes Scott friends today and got some lovely last minute words of wisdom from former study-abroaders.  I love you all you Scotties so much!  Thank you for being in my life and being a never ending source of love and encouragement.  
I had a lovely dinner at my favorite Thai restaurant with my favorite family.  My parents presented me with a wonderful parting gift--two seasons of The Office! Hopefully that will help combat any plane jitters.  
So finally, after months of planning, email-writing, red-tape treading, praying, letter writing, buying, obsessing, I am embarking.  
To my parents, my brother, Liliane, my friends, my relatives, my boyfriend, Caroline, THANK YOU!  I could not even imagine taking on such an endeavor without the enormous support of my friends, family, and Agnes staff.  Thanks to everyone who had to put up with my obsessive talking about and planning of this trip.  

Here's to it not snowing tomorrow!!!
