Hello and sorry for the long wait for a blog!  I just returned from a 2-day Edinburgh Fringe Festival trip and it was quite the experience!

To start off on only a few hours sleep we decided to make a pit stop at Starbucks for a bit of a caffeine rush.  I'm not a coffee drinker so I decided to ask Scott to get me a chai latte.  He missed the 'chai' part and returned with a latte!  I have never liked coffee and have never even liked the smell of it.  I decided to give it a try and I was pretty surprised because I did take a liking to it!  I was shocked myself and am hoping I am one that doesn't become a latte junkie!

The festival was brilliant!  Katie, Scott and I were able to see a comedy act, a hypnosis show and a music show.  The music show today wasn't the best as it was based on blues music but the tickets were free so we gave it a go.  I was trying not to fall asleep but was woken up when I was an audience member who was dragged up on stage to learn some dancing moves.  My hips weren't moving as well as others as I did have a few beer yesterday and I was only on about 8 hours of sleep frpm the past 2 days!  It was entertaining to the audience though.

I am running short on time so I won't be able to upload any photos today.  I will definately get a chance to do it soon though because I am down to 6 working days!!  I am very excited to say that Katie and I have bought a trip to Mallorca, Spain and we leave next Thursday, August 30 at 08:00!  We will be soaking in the sun with our cold drinks beside us as we laze on the beach and get a nice tan!  Here in Scotland it's not possible so I am very excited!

I will write again soon!  Now my travels begin next Thursday with my mother flying over the week to follow.  Then two weeks after that I am off to France for Canada games in the Men's Riugby World Cup, then to Switzerland, Austria, Germany for Oktoberfest (and I am happy to say that I bought a nice t-shirt with a perfect theme to go with Oktoberfest), through Belgium and to Amsterdam!  Everything is pretty much booked and I am ready for the adventure!

Take care everyone and I will update again soon with some more recent photos and such!
