I have been busy over the last nine months with no blogs or photos uploaded onto my website and I am sorry to say it is because I have been quite out of tune with it.  My last nine months of no updates will be a weekly chore for me as I have tons of information to share and thousands of photos to post!  I see I am still at #25 on the most photos list which shocks me because after I post all of them I will be up to about #10!

Since my last blog called Grape Grazing in Melbourne Australia (which was a fun-filled wine festival which I will going to gain this year if it's on.....which means yes I am still in Melbourne!) there has been the following activites in order starting from May 2009:

-  applying for a visa extension to extend my stay in Melbourne in May 2009
-  been refused my visa application two dats after my application
-  asking Steve (the gentleman Katie set me up with the day after I arrived in Melbourne) to marry me as I loved him and didn't want to leave him in May 2009
-  Steve saying 'YES'!
-  phoning my family in Canada to tell them I was getting married and will be home for five months during the spousal visa application which means I will be moving to Australia permanently (was a little scary but all good!)
-  finding an engagement ring, waiting for its arrival and telling everyone we were engaged in July 2009!
-  having an engagement party and a farewell party in July 2009
-  I departed back to Canada from August - December 2009 with my visa approved November 5 and meaning I need to enter Australia prior to marriage and we need to wed within nine months!

All in all pretty busy while I was in Canada with spousal visa application fun, visiting people back in Canada, working full-time with a company I worked for in 2004, Steve visiting me and my family in my home town for two weeks in September 2009 and Steve returning for a month holiday around North America before we departed back to Melbourne!  During the one month holiday we travelled to Las Vegas, Banff and surrounding areas along with Edmonton, back to Saskatoon to see family and friends and to Jamaica for a special friend since kindergartens wedding!

I must say with my travels and Steve only travelling to Thailand and Malaysia I am happy that he has always wanted to travel but just never did it!  When I tell him about my travels and where I have been it makes him excited as from knowing me for just over one year he has added another three countries to his list with lots more to come with our lives together forever!

So our wedding is booked for July 2, 2010 in Hawaii which is coming so fast and we don't have everything planned yet!  Need to get on it as people are booking travel without ours even confirmed!  The important thing is that our wedding is booked so we will be in Hawaii on July 2 no matter what!  Haha!  Actually our flights are booked and it's only accomodation that is needed.

Of course we haven't sent out invites either?!  It has been a little crazy and with being so far apart for that five months we left it until we were together again to all of a sudden be down to less than six months with still no invites out!  Sorry for that family and friends!  At least you know about it!

So I will be posting tons of photos of our month trip around North America plus Steve's trip to Saskatoon!  We are planning to come to Canada for Christmas 2010 as Steve is soo excited to see what a white Christmas really is!  I am excited for him to experience it too!

Take care everyone and I promise I will post the pictures, write the blogs from the last nine months!  As for future blogs we have a new website for our wedding:

http://www.momentville.com/steveandlaura2010

After the wedding I will probable make a new blog entry page as I will not be the independant traveller anymore.  I guess I can say I'm not right now but I am still a Fisher for the next 168 days!  Then I will be a Marazzi!

Bye for now!
