G'day T. Po'ers,

Travellers 5 and 6 (re-named Bruce and Sheila)arrive in Sydney to meet Ralph - barely recognised him with all the ginger fluff.

Sydney great city but also seems to have lost the sun after 3 days cloud and rain. Highlights to date:

Day 1 toured the Giant Armadillo (Opera House) with the benefit of a "lovely" Ozzy boy called Troy. Highlight was the visit to a new room to be told the designer of the Opera House (Ulsen) had also designed the table and chairs which looked Ikea specials to us!

Day 2 toured the city on Sydney Explorer. Having travelled half way around the world and up 16000ft mountains one day with Bruce and Sheila Raplh lost half his foot walking round a bizarre Chinese Garden.

Day 3 Amazing day! Did Harbour boat trip in pouring rain. Travelled around impressive Sydney suburbs on Bondi explorer getting to Bondi beach to be hardly able to stand up in pouring rain and huge squall. Excellent lunch (Ralph seems to have regained his appetite - (Ad please note he will never take the 24hr bet!) and eventually got to the beach to dip our toes in the Tasman Sea. Ralph only dipped right foot to avoid shark attack with bloodied left foot. Hightlight was then blagging our way (after arriving 3hrs after it closed) into the SCG (Sydney Cricket Ground for the women) going through Members pavilion through the players bar down onto the ground. Ralph faked a few Warney specials which in true Ashes style were despatched into the famous Yabba Hill! All we needed was a bat and ball. Evening was truly bizarre having eat steak pie, mash and tomatoe sauce stood outside Harry's Cafe de Wheels (not to be missed) followed by seeing a Sydney Festival production in Hyde Park which include tree and water fountain lights to the music singing "We are only Blood and Bones" followed by "we only have 7 Holes"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After this excitement we head to the Olympic village today.
