13/1
Jim: Well afetr a pretty slow start to the morning after the big night out for robs departure me an ads decided to get the skyline gondola to the top of queenstown hill and take on the luge. Once again the scenery was spectacular, views across queenstown itself, lake wakatipu, and the remarkables. Fortunately the sun was out so all looked amazing. We took pleny of pictures before heading to the luge runs. Rob has named them death luges, he thinks they are the most dangerous thing to do in New Zealand, its just cos he was so slow though in Rotorua!!! Me and ads took them on and after a fairly mild ride down the scenic track we headed for the advanced... It was quality, got up some good speed and managed to get some good air of this one drop off and spent a lot of time on two wheels goign round corners... maybe not quite as safe as we first thought!! We then watched some peple doing the ledge bungy jump. The view across the lake made it appear really high but was just the same as the one the boys did about 50m!!

The evening was spent watching the aussies dominate the sri lankans in the ODI from the telstra dome... we will be there in a couple of weeks!!! Quality gae and the aussies were in fine form, somke of the banter between andy "roy" symonds, michael "pup" clarke and mike "mr cricket" hussey was awesome!! We watched pretty much every ball and had a good laugh watching it all!!!

Today was sevens with altitude!!! the national rugby sevens tournament betweeen all the regional teams from NZ, the big teams were all there otago, canterbury, auckland etc. Some pretty good rugby and some not so good rugby from the lesser known teams!! the sn was out though an we took in some rays... superb day with the stunning scenery of queenstown and the remarkables in the back ground. During the lunch intercal they had a special guest strolling around sgning autographs and stuff... it was none other than Tana Umaga!!! What a bonus, managed to get a shot of him as he walked round. He wsasnt as big as i was expecting but he had some good tanks on him!!!

All for now. Stay tuned...
