On the way out by the Litchfield National Park we went to the magnetic termite mound area, which I think is one of the only places where they exist, and where they also have normal, but huge, termite mounds.
Denise was disappointed because since her previous trip there, they had restricted access to the magnetic termite mounds so now one has to walk the boardwalk which is so long distance from the mountains themselves. I guess too many people were man handling them and taking bits of souvenirs.
Lichfield was a very enjoyable and peaceful stay. The map he also shows the areas of interest for the rest of the previous entries.
We are off to a spot just short of Darwin to rest up for a week until next Monday when we go to Darwin to get Denise's cast taken off. If they refuse, will get an axe or a chainsaw to doit ourselves.
