So, Christmas day sitting on an island in the delta, sipping a black label and watching the storm roll in. Thunder, lightning and a good group of people - what more could you want apart from running water, a toilet that wasn't a hole in the ground and maybe a christmas turkey. But hey, I'm not complaining as that day I'd seen elephants, giraffe, numerous waterbirds, zebra, and many types of antelope, and I'd even swam between islands avoiding the crocs to go see some hippos.

And in craft lessons I learnt how to make a flower necklace and I learnt how to drive a mokroro. All in all, an amazing time was had in the delta
