Where I stayed
Day 41
We're starting out in South San Francisco today and making our way back to LA over the next few days. We wanted to do some coast driving in California at some point and we have a few days, so this seemed like a good place to start, but before leaving the valley we wanted to hit a couple local favorites. There are SO many tech companies based here, so we decided to pick a couple and check them out. Intel had a really nice museum and gift shop where you could learn all about their history and how chips are made. Ethan and I suited up in the bunny suit and all. After that we thought it might be fun to head over to the Apple company store in Cupertino. It is the only place on earth you can buy apple logoed apparel and stuff. We grabbed an item for Patch, cause well, he's the biggest fan boy I know :-) Gotta say though, it was pretty lackluster. I like Apple products just fine, but an actual Apple store in just about any city is WAY more exciting. And that's it, there are no other attractions there. Though they said we could feel free to walk to the loop...yeah, no...we're good thanks! So, then we started working our way down the coast to Monterey. Lots of beautiful beaches along the way. We finished up the night at the Old Fisherman's Wharf having a fantastic seafood dinner and some great chowder.
