Where I stayed
Day 30
We all have to admit that we're getting a little tired of the road now. There are so many days that I don't want to get out of bed. And it's not so much that I don't want to go check out new places, I'm just getting really tired of packing and unpacking everything. This is one of those days. It was a slow morning getting going. We were in the middle of nowhere CA, but I think just an hour outside of Livermore, so we finally got out of the room knowing we'd see some new cool stuff soon. We rolled into Oakland around lunchtime and were really hungry so we got off at a random exit to look around. I think we were not in a very good part of town, but we're not from here, so we don't know for sure. After looking a place up we found a really good mexican joint. Small little place, but excellent food. The burritos were gigantic and $4.00. Because we were feeling so blah we headed for a hotel to take it easy for the day. The place had a nice pool and a nice tv so we settled in for the night. We did pop our briefly to get some hawaiian food. Which was interesting, never had any food quite like that. After that I worked on our taxes and we watched the CMAs. And the taxes are done so that's it for today.
