The first couple of days in Norway. The weather wasn't too bad, at least it didn't rain until we left for Greece. Laurie (who is motorbiking around Europe for 2 months) met us here for 2 days. Had quite a few laughs. The first day we walked through town and bought some fresh veggies and steak for supper. This was to be Laurie's and Aaron's first experience operating a coal BBQ - needless to say 1/2 of BBQ lighter fluid later and much later in the evening they ate Hydrocarbon soaked steaks (I decided to be vegetarian for the night!!). We had a good laugh - they could have been high! The next day we hiked to Sherag - it is a rock that is wedged between two cliffs with a 1 km drop down below us. We managed to each get out for a photo - notice the one of Aaron and I - he was shaking at this point! He doesn't like heights to did well to get out on the rock. There are lot's of photos of people naked balancing on bikes etc out on this rock, it is pretty popular in Norway.
That night we had fresh salmon for supper - this time it didn't taste like Benzene but they still hadn't figured out the coal BBQ and I ended up putting mine in the oven!
So after two exciting days with Laurie we headed off to Athens Greece for two weeks.

I think I look skinnier than Aaron in the pictures ???, what do you think tubby?!?!?!?!
