While telling my co-workers and friends about this place they told me what I found was only an imagination, a place which couldn't possibly exist. They said I was being snookered, the place seemed too good to be true. While I agreed I explained that I actually spoke to the owner of The Limestone Reef Terrace Apartments where I would be staying and was assured all was fine and on the up and up! Ultimately, and personally, I disagreed. I told my co-workers and friends I already sent my check in (which was not a lot of money!) for my room and, since I also booked my flight, I would be going there to see it for myself anyway.

I do not wish to come across as mean-spirited but my co-workers and friends, for the most part, haven't traveled or lived outside Allen County, Indiana. I can truly appreciate their skepticism. I simply decided that I would visit first and would move there full time if everything was ok.

I have traveled quite extensively throughout this world while on active duty in the US Army and have made some rather unique friends and a few discoveries. I returned to the Fort to sell my things I felt I no longer needed and stored the things I couldn't take but wanted to keep. When I showed the few pictures and told my friends of my decision, they were suddenly jealous. I had no idea what was in store but I knew this, I was on my way to a new life!! Very exciting and new stuff was about to happen and I couldn't wait!

My friends have an open invitation to visit with me as long as I have a place!
