Merry Christmas 2004! This is the first entry in my travelogue. I'm currently looking after 2 cats and a dog for a prof from the geology department until the 2nd Jan. Beautiful location on the shores of Lake Superior. Temperature hit -30F in Trap Rock River Valley, 10 miles north last night. Spent Christmas today with Margaret and family, great food, good company, see pics. The lake has started to freeze forming ice lillies, but continues to steam and makes huge snow clouds to the east. Have the annual Christmas flu. Things are quiet here.
