Well, I am here. I have been here for a little longer than 24 hrs, and I feel like it has been 3 days not 3 months since I've been here.

I have a lot more to do in the way of setting up this travelogue. My plan is to have it set up and ready to go by tomorrow morning.

When I got to town, y train ride from the airport was uneventful (not always the case), I was asleep before my plane took off, they woke me for dinner, and then woke me after we landed, I missed the whole flight. When I got of the train it was a short 6 block walk to my hotel THE WINSTON www.winston.nl and dropped of my suitcases, then took the duffel I brought full of dirty clothes to the laundry, beat the guy there by 10 minutes so I waited, once he got there I headed to Barney's for breakfast. I ate in the restaurant then went next door to the coffee shop for my first smoke.......LOVE POTION#1.....not bad stuff.....but I only showed up with 60 Euro so I needed to wait till the money exchange opened.....I got .812 Euro for the U$D. The first person I met was a girl speaking Spanish to some Spaniards but she was defenatly COLUMBIAN......So we started chatting about my Columbian Connection as I like to call it.....Nancy was her name. She was born in Bogota and grew up in Miami the after high school came to Holland and has been her for 7 years. We had a nice chat.

At noon cafe 420 opens....John Sinclair was also arriving around then so the plan was to meet there. John called me while I was wondering down the shopping street near the 420. He had just landed and was still on the plane, so I knew it would be about an hour or so before he made it into the city. So I hung at the 420 cafe.

Green With Envy
Four weeks in Amsterdam? You've got to be kidding me. Talk about a dream vacation. There is a blockbuster art exhibit at the Van Gogh Museum comparing Rembrant and Caravaggio that just opened 2 weeks ago. If I were there, I'd be stopping at the local coffee shop for Love Potion #1, 2, and 3 and then hitting the exhibit, but hey, that's just me.
Looking forward to your travel blog.
