Where I stayed
Hello! Brilliant day today!!!! After a long long journey from Bonito we arrived at 5am this morning and crashed in the HI hostel just out of town... more like a resort than a hostel... pool, bar, restaurant etc... today we went to the brazillian side of the iguasu falls... was AMAZING!!!!!!!! 275 waterfalls in a small area.... loud rushing pounding huge falls, got soaking wet just looking at them!!!... amazing panoramic views ... was great, got loads of photos which we will put up when we can... THEN after the falls we went to an AMAZING BIRD PARK..., my Mum would LOVE it... toucans.... huge maccaws.... also saw anacondas, alligators, boa constrictors, monkeys, many different birds... tomorrow we go to Argentinian side to take a boat UNDER the falls, should be good, then we head out to Ilha do Mel, an island off the coast of Brazil. Will add more details when we can... heading back to the pool and caprianas now :) lots of love from Adam and Eve.

Ok...after calling the drink a capriana for the Xth time, a friendly brazillian bartender pulled me aside and would not let me leave until I pronounced and spelt it correctly (which is very difficult after a few of them considering they have several shots of cachaca [40%] each)
Capiroska -- pronounced keye-pihr-ohska -- that~s the one made with vodka
Capirahna -- pronounced keye-pihr-ahna -- that~s the one made with cachaca (pronounces kay-sha-sa)...a 40% proof spirit made from cane sugar that is so smooth you can drink it on the rocks like coke
ok...the pool and my other Capiroska beckons :)
I have been taught how to make them and we~re shopping for cachaca next stop so expect a big capir-whatever night when we get back :)
All our love
